Spondylolisthesis is a frontward slippage of one spinal bone compared to the one below it. This slippage can be the result of a single trauma or can be the result of repeated micro trauma to the area. The biggest issue with the type of condition is that often times the slippage can pinch a nerve in the low back and cause considerable pain. Chiropractic care is often time used to address the resulting symptoms, and potentially the underlying problem.
